Biography

Welcome to the Calm Birth Education program, I am Karen Grey and I have 18 years experience in childbirth as a Midwife. I live in the Sutherland shire and work at Prince of Wales Private, and The Royal Hospital for Woman Randwick. I have three wonderful children and a beautiful little granddaughter. The Calm birth education program has been developed by Peter Jackson to assist couples to truly understand birth and release fears and anxiety about birth. I am passionate in offering my expertise and experience to couples through the well-researched and evidenced-based Calm birth education program. My aim is to give couples knowledge and understanding of what processes are involved in birth. My vision is for couples to become more loving and caring of each other and understand the process of birth and the challenges involved in this process.Through the course you will acquire knowledge in parenting and breastfeeding to make the journey of childbirth a joyful and enriching experience. This program uses techniques such a breathing, visualisation, movement, touch and relaxation to help offer woman a beautiful calm birth outcome. I offer private classes to couples and am happy to come to your home at a time convenient to you both.
