Calmbirth® is the only childbirth education program that requires all its educators to be practising midwives or trained birth professionals
Hello! I'm Rosie, a mother, a nurse, a midwife & a passionate advocate for informed education regarding all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth & parenting. I decided to become a Calmbirth Educator, in 2015, after doing the course with my husband when I was pregnant with my first child in 2013. I believe that this information was so helpful to both myself & my partner despite an emergency caesarean being the outcome, and would love this level of education to be available to all pregnant women & their respective birth partners so they to can feel informed and empowered. I have since had another baby- a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean), and we are expanding out family to five this June. I am so excited for another birth experience!
I have been a nurse and midwife for over 10 years, working in many major tertiary hospitals throughout Australia, gaining amazing insight into all different types of births. I am still in awe of every single birth! Most recently I have been working here at Ballarat Health Services.
Please feel free to contact me at any stage throughout your pregnancy to discuss options of classes with B.A.B.I.E.S (Ballarat Antenatal & Birth Independent Education Services). Private & group classes available within the Ballarat, Ararat & Hamilton regions. Most group classes are run out of Eureka Osteo, Ballarat.
