Hi, I’m Kathryn March, a Private Midwife caring for women across the Central West of NSW, based in Dubbo.

A lifetime ago I was a practising Exercise Physiologist with a fascination of the human body. I thought that this was the career for me until the birth of my first child.

Birth introduced me to the empowering world of women supporting women known as midwifery, which I immediately fell in love with. My career trajectory was changed overnight!

After some years working as a Midwife in the hospital system, I am now working as a Private Midwife offering Homebirth, Doula Support in the hospital, Antenatal and Postnatal care in the home, Pregnancy Massage and Calmbirth Education classes.

I am passionate about fostering and nurturing positive beliefs through sharing of knowledge and my own belief in the natural physiological processes of birth. I hope to share with women what a transformative, empowering, innate and even spiritual, life changing experience birth can be. Calmbirth provides a platform for connecting with birthing women and their support partners, helping reduce fear and anxiety. When we look forward to birth as a positive and natural process, we are far more likely to have a positive birthing experience.
