I am a midwife and a mother of three beautiful kids. I have experience providing midwifery care in a hospital setting, both in a big tertiary hospital and in a small regional hospital and now in private practice.

I believe that pregnancy, birth, and early parenting is a unique time in a family’s life. As well as being physically transformative; it can be emotionally and spiritually significant. I am passionate about women, their partners and families having up-to-date evidence-based information to support their experience during pregnancy, labour and birth and the early postpartum period.

I began teaching Calmbirth because I would love for all women to have a birthing experience in which they feel psychologically safe. Knowledge about the psychology and physiology of birth can facilitate this. Women’s birthing journeys unfold in many different ways, but as Calmbirth says “with knowledge comes confidence”.

I run regular small classes in Bega on the Far South Coast of NSW. I also offer private classes. If you would like to discuss more about how I can support you, please email me at [email protected]
