Biography

Hi, my name is Gill and I am very proud to call myself a Calmbirth Educator. I am the mother of 2 wonderful kids, now 18 and 21, both natural births. I have been fortunate enough to work as a midwife and educator for the last 26 years, attending a variety of births in England, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and here in Australia. I have been at many beautiful births and also at many challenging births. I can assure you that Calmbirth is THE most effective and wonderful preparation for childbirth course I know of. It is not rocket science - it is pure logic and common sense but the outcomes are profound in so many ways. The techniques taught are life skills that can be utilized in many areas of your lives. Calmbirth will enable the birth of your baby to be a true labour of love and the payoffs are enormous - all relationships will genuinely benefit. I truly believe that if every woman had access to this beautiful program the fear associated with childbirth would cease and the rates of intervention in our hospitals would be drastically reduced. At the completion of the Calmbirth classes you will leave feeling confident, empowered as a couple and excited about the upcoming birth of your baby - in the words of one couple "Bring it on!!"
