Biography

I am a registered midwife, registered nurse and a mother to 2 boys. I am passionate about empowering women and their partners through childbirth. Through my work as a midwife I have witnessed the enormous positive impact that being confidant and self assured has on the labour and birth process. For me I feel that attending a Calmbirth course provides the knowledge and confidence for couples to embrace their birthing experience rather than fear it; trusting in their instinctive ability to birth their baby. Bringing a baby into the world is an amazingly profound experience and I believe that for all women this should be a time of joy and empowerment regardless of the type of birth. I am excited to welcome you to my calmbirth classes; and together to learn how to look forward to your babies birthday with wonder and excitement and not fear and anxiety.
