Biography

I'm a midwife, a trained birth attendant (Doula) and Physiotherapist with a focus on infant CranioSacral Therapy and Women's Health. I'm also a mother of three adult children. Having treated mothers and babies after traumatic birth events, this highlighted the importance of intervention-free empowering births; with the mother and the couple being in charge of their unique life-changing birth experience. Calmbirth Classes teach inner resources like relaxation, breathing and visualisation exercises to create a powerful, confident and positive birth experience, however it may unfold, allowing the mother to access a deep inner wisdom and strength. I particularly enjoy empowering women and couples through knowledge, experiences and resources.Small weekday evening or weekend classes are available, as well as individual home sessions suiting the busiest of schedules.
