My name is Sue McGlynn. I am a Registered Midwife who is passionate about women centered care. Within my practice I love nothing more than having the opportunity to empower women to achieve the very best birth experience possible for them. I believe that by promoting birth as a natural event for most women, and educating women to believe in themselves, by tapping into their own innate ability to birth their babies, will in turn minimise the fear of birth. At the same time recognising the important consideration of focusing on the couples unique needs, expectations and aspirations of their birth experience.
I feel very privileged to be a midwife working in a small country town. I have been a childbirth educator at Cootamundra hospital, conducting classes over the past six years. Within my midwifery practice I can deliver care through a shared care program with women that sees me working in the areas of antenatal care, birthing suite and postnatal care. I absolutely love what I do.
