I’m Michelle and I’ve had the privilege of working with birthing women and their families for over twenty five years. My calling as a Calmbirth Educator began with a deep-seated passion for empowering women and their partners to embrace the transformative journey of childbirth with calmness and confidence.
Throughout the course you’ll learn powerful relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and mindfulness practices to help you tap into your inner strength and resilience.
Connection with your partner/support person builds a strong foundation for trust and communication at a deeper level.
As you move through the course and towards the birth of your baby, you are charged to transform fear into confidence, tension into relaxation and doubt into trust.

My Name is...Michelle Green.

The five words that describe my life would be...Crazy, fun, surrounded by family & friends.
The best thing about where I live…Open spaces, hills and views and Aussie wildlife.
When I’m not working and have some spare time I love…Trips away and walks along the beach.
I can’t live without...Time spent with with my awesome husband and kids.
The trait I admire most in others is…My lovely Mum, always there for me with a positive attitude and a laugh that can be heard anywhere.
What I love most about being a Calmbirth educator is...The sacred connection to birth in all its magnificence and the lived experience of anticipation.
If I had to describe my own birth experiences in 3 words… Long, empowering, enlightenment.
Three essential things you need to take in to labour are...Confidence, trust, relaxed state of mind.
The most memorable moment I’ve had as an educator...Seeing the couple grow together in support and belief that their experience will be the best experience for them.
A favourite quote…It’s good to laugh at times that feel inappropriate – Ina May Gaskin
How does seeing a baby being born make me feel...As an empathetic person I tend to feel all the feelings in the room, the pure joy on a new Mamma’s face and the sheer overwhelming surge of emotion the Father cannot hide. This always brings tears to my eyes.
