
The South Western Sydney Local Health District in collaboration with Calmbirth is excited to announce that Campbelltown Hospital are now offering the highly acclaimed and evidence based Calmbirth Antenatal education program to expectant parents across the Campbelltown and surrounding areas.
“Here at Campbelltown hospital, we strive to provide women centred care through collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment. We provide care in a safe, supportive environment where a woman’s choices and decisions are based on relationships built on respect and trust.
We see this collaboration with Calmbirth as complementing our core values by providing birthing families with choice in a range of quality educational programs to make informed decisions about their birth with their maternity care providers,” says Karen Sorensen, Women and Children’s Midwifery Nurse Manager
The program will run on consecutive Sundays from April 2025 and will be located in Building A level 2 Educational rooms, Campbelltown Hospital.
Campbelltown Hospital is part of the Southwest Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD). Campbelltown Hospital deliver quality healthcare to residents in the Macarthur region, providing a range of services including maternity services with an average of 3750 births a year.
