Join me on the beautiful NSW South Coast for a weekend of learning, connection and thoughtful preparation for birth. Away from the busyness of everyday life, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on each other, ask questions, build confidence and prepare together for the transition to parenthood.
With over a decade of experience teaching Calmbirth classes, I am delighted to be welcoming couples back to the Eurobodalla region. As an Endorsed Midwife with extensive experience supporting women and families in both home and hospital birth settings, I combine evidence-based education with the practical wisdom gained from caring for hundreds of families throughout pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
My classes are relaxed, engaging and supportive, creating a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged, partners feel actively involved, and every couple is empowered to understand their own birth physiology, explore their options and consider the choices that are right for them.
Whether you come from just down the road or travel from further afield, I measure the success of my classes by how couples feel as they leave: informed, supported, connected and confident, with a deeper understanding of birth, a stronger connection to each other, and the knowledge and confidence to navigate birth together and make decisions that are right for them and their baby.
Meet… Ange
My work..Midwife | Calmbirth Educator | Women’s Health Advocate
My life in five words…Calm. Curious. Compassionate. Adventurous. Connected.
The best thing about where I live..Living on the beautiful NSW South Coast means the ocean is always close by. Whether I’m swimming, exploring beneath the surface on scuba, or simply walking along the beach, it’s a place that helps me slow down, breathe and reconnect.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me…Swimming in the ocean, scuba diving, travelling, cuddling my dog, spending time in my garden, or sharing good food and conversation with family and friends.
I can’t live without…The ocean, coffee, laughter, meaningful conversations and time in nature.
The person I most admire is…The women I’ve met throughout my career. Each has taught me something about courage, resilience, humility and the extraordinary strength that can emerge when we feel informed, supported and believed in.
What I love most about being a Calmbirth Educator…Helping couples replace fear with understanding. Watching partners become confident, informed and connected, and seeing women discover just how capable they are, is one of the greatest privileges of my work.
If I had to describe my own birth experience in three words…Transformative. Empowering. Surrendering.
The three essential things to take into labour are..Knowledge. Confidence. Someone who absolutely believes in you.
Favourite quote…“We’re all just walking each other home.”
— Ram Dass
This quote reminds me that none of us is meant to do life’s biggest moments alone. Whether in birth, parenting or everyday life, there is great strength in feeling supported, understood and gently guided along the way.
If I had to describe how seeing a baby being born makes me feel…Every birth reminds me of the extraordinary strength of women. Watching a woman discover her own courage and welcome her baby into the world is something I’ll never take for granted. It leaves me feeling privileged, inspired and deeply hopeful.
A final thought…I believe birth is more than preparing to welcome a baby—it’s preparing to become parents.
My role isn’t to tell you how your birth should unfold. It’s to walk alongside you, helping you understand your own birth physiology, explore your options and build the confidence to make decisions that feel right for you and your baby.
