Biography

Hello and welcome to the beginning of an amazing journey. My name is Janine O'Brien and I'm an Independent Midwife working with Midwives @ Sydney & Beyond and Calmbirth Educator. As a mother, midwife and massage therapist I believe that pregnancy is an imperative time of growth and change from woman to mother. I have found that the Calmbirth course offers new and existing families, an opportunity to see pregnancy, birth & parenting as something to look forward to free of fear. I strongly believe the Calmbirth course is important for whatever kind of birth you are planning as the skills can be used for birth, parenting & everyday life. I offer regular weeknight and weekend courses in North Narrabeen, Northern Beaches, in small intimate groups, in a relaxed, comfortable and tranquil environment. Local accommodation by the beach is also available, why not make it your baby moon?
