Hi, I’m Kellie.

I am an Endorsed Privately Practising Midwife and Calmbirth Educator. Over almost 30 years as a midwife, I’ve been privileged to witness many births and support many incredible couples through this transformative time.

Very early on, I noticed something distinct about couples who had attended Calmbirth. They laboured and birthed differently — more smoothly, more calmly, deeply connected to one another and to their baby. I was curious. I wanted to understand what they knew, and how I could share it more widely.

Since joining Calmbirth in 2016, I have been passionate about equipping couples with practical knowledge and tools that empower them to create positive, joyful birth experiences — no matter how their baby enters the world.

When you understand that birth is a physiological process designed by nature, and that your body already holds the inner resources to work with labour (rather than against it), fear begins to soften. And when fear softens, the body can function optimally. This creates space for a calmer, more peaceful and loving beginning for your baby — and the best possible birth for your family.

I deeply believe women can birth as nature intended when they are informed, supported and prepared. Calmbirth offers not only knowledge for birth, but skills for life. One of my greatest joys is witnessing couples connect more deeply with each other as they step into parenthood in their own unique way.

I am also a mum to two amazing boys, who continue to teach me about presence, growth and living life wholeheartedly.

I teach small, intimate group classes. There will be more upcoming classes approximately end of May/early June, then approximately monthly – tba, so keep your eye on this website or send me an email if you want to be added to the notifications list.

I’m currently searching for a new comfortable space to hold my courses, and think I may have secured a beautiful space in Cooroy – more to follow. ❤️
