Biography
Meet Georgette Khalil – Calmbirth® Educator, Doula & Founder of Birthing Culture
I’m Georgette Khalil, a passionate Calmbirth® Educator, Doula, and the founder of Birthing Culture. As a mother of five and a secondary teacher on a break, I understand firsthand the challenges and beauty of pregnancy, birth, and parenting. I am now shifting my career toward full-time birth work, dedicating myself to empowering and supporting parents through their journey.
I believe that birth is a natural process that women are capable of experiencing with trust and confidence. Women are designed to give birth, and when they are supported, informed, and free from fear, they can embrace labour with strength and calmness. My own births, though each unique, were deeply empowering experiences. They showed me the incredible resilience and power within every woman, and I want every mother to have the opportunity to feel that same sense of confidence, strength, and accomplishment.
Through my Calmbirth® courses, I guide parents in developing a positive mindset, equipping them with practical tools to approach birth feeling confident, calm, and in control.
Beyond my work, I am a lifelong learner who loves reading, cooking, meditating, and listening to podcasts. I am committed to personal growth and expanding my awareness to provide the best possible support to the families I work with.
