Biography

Since 2002 I have worked as a Registered Nurse and Midwife within a rural and remote setting providing holistic healthcare. During this time I have developed my passion for empowering women to deliver their babies with confidence, in a calm and gentle manner, no matter how the birth journey unfolds.Being a mother of two, I appreciated the importance of entering childbirth without fear. I knew a calm and joyful birth was possible regardless of the outcome. The Calmbirth course provides couples with the knowledge and skills to achieve such an experience. It also supports couples in recognising their innate abilities and to embrace the connection they share with each other and their baby during pregnancy, birth and into parenthood.I conduct the Calmbirth course over a weekend, or during week days at a mutually agreeable time, offering both private and small group classes.
