Biography
Hello!
I am a registered midwife and passionate childbirth educator. I have been caring for women and their families for several years in hospital in Brisbane and regional and rural NSW, and have recently moved and made Lismore my home.
I began studying midwifery almost by accident, but I really believe now that it was meant for me all along. I am continually astonished by women – their innate abilities, their power and their triumphs as they grow, birth and nurture their babies.
Learning about all of this has been, and still is, mind blowing for me, and it is one of my greatest joys as an educator to blow others’ minds as well with just how amazing they already are! I am passionate in my belief that every birthing couple deserves the opportunity to know and understand themselves and each other when it comes to birth. I have seen first hand just how much of a difference it makes to your experience as you grow your families.
As such, I am incredibly excited to offer Calmbirth in my local community and to teach you and your partner how to understand, support and work with your birth experience, so that you can come out of it empowered and amazed.
