Due to the Covid19, At clambirth we are offering a 10% discount on our course to assist the community and people effected in any way by this changing world.  A discount of 10% will be offered on courses in Aug and Sep, so from $550.00 down to $495.00.

As we move forward with Covid 19, the fee will be reviewed accordingly.

If you find you are still able to pay the full price, maybe you would like to  'pay it forward' for a couple that are really struggling at this time.

Please email / phone me if you have any concerns or fears about the fee. We can work together on this.

For  dates of my courses please email me directly at    [email protected]    so I am able to sent a cover letter with payment details (direct into my bank account) and application form, Carmel.

I have lived in Wagga Wagga since early 2002, having spent the previous twelve years in Northern Territory. I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Over the years I have been privileged to have witnessed the most amazing birth journeys. From this experience I realised that from the very first thought of wanting and having a baby, to conception and to the day you welcome your baby into your arms to beginning a new chapter in your family should be an amazing journey of discovery and wonder.

I work within a hospital environment, so see women and their families from the time they first attend a care giver, through to going home after their birth. To share their journey is amazing when they are confident, informed and look forward to their birthing journey. I am so amazed and passionate about the Calmbirth teaching and its philosophy that I use it every day in my life, to be confident, calm and gentle with myself and the world around me. To be able to know and understand changes that are happening within the woman's body and mind/soul, and not be afraid of them; not to perceive them with fear of the unknown and anxiety, but welcome them as an opportunity to grow and discover new strengths, and ways to handle challenges more positively.

For me, teaching Calmbirth is one of the most fulfilling aspect of midwifery, to witness the journey toward the birth, and the growth of confidence of the couple. To know that the time and practice the couples do will always be rewarded. To witness these births, with any detour that may occur, is a privilege and blessing I could never take for granted. I run the course over a two day period, either on a weekend, or during week days to accommodate shift workers. Email me so together we are able work out your dates.
