Biography

As a Doula and Childbirth Educator I have been supporting couples in birth for 18 years and have been teaching Calmbirth for 10 years. I believe Calmbirth can profoundly contribute to a couple's birth experience. Calmbirth teaches women tools and techniques that allows them to access their inner resources to create a fulfilling birth experience.

My aim is that couples have an experience in which they feel prepared and confident, wherever their journey takes them.

My interest in working in birth was by inspired by my own birth experiences. I have 3 teenage children and had very different birth experiences, my first was born by caesarean section followed by two natural births.

As a doula, I regularly witness the benefits of Calmbirth unfolding in hospital and home. My background in education and experiential learning facilitates classes that are informative, relaxed and fun. I run regular workshops for couples and also teach Calmbirth privately.
